Students Celebrate Excellent A Level Results

Our sixth form students have celebrated another excellent year of A Level Results.

72% of students achieved A*-C, representing a 1% increase on last year’s results.  Speaking on the excellent results, Neil McShane, Interim Principal, said:

Congratulations to all our Year 13 students for their hard work and commitment. Particular congratulations should go to Tom Lockhart on his superb achievement of four A grades. This excellent set of results reflects the dedication and professionalism of all the staff and the continuing support of our parents and Governors

Gee Cook, Norfolk Academies Trust Chief Executive, added:

I am delighted that our students have performed well in both their A Levels and vocational studies, giving them greater opportunities and choices.  I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to all Norfolk Academies Trust students, parents, staff and governors who have worked tirelessly to achieve this year's improved outcomes. We wish all our students the very best in their exciting futures.

There were many fantastic individual achievements, most notably Tom Lockhart, who achieved three A’s in biology, chemistry, history and EPQ. Tom, who plays Eastern Counties rugby, has won awards for sheep shearing and is a grade seven level trumpet player, will be studying biochemistry at Bath University.
