Record GCSE Results for Students

The waiting was finally over for our Year 11 students as they collected their GCSE results on Thursday 25 August, with parents and teachers sharing in their delight as the class of 2016 recorded some excellent results.

“We are incredibly proud of our students who have achieved yet another set of record results, with 60% gaining 5 or more A*-Cs including English and maths, making this the fourth consecutive year of record results at the Academy.  We have seen some outstanding individual results, including Maciej Kozodoj gaining 8 A* and 4 A grades and Tiarna Meehan achieving 6A* and 4A grades. These GCSE outstanding results, combined with our excellent A level results last week, show that Fakenham Academy Norfolk is now moving back into the territory of excellence it occupied some years ago. I am incredibly proud of our work as a school serving the local community and to see the hard work of students, staff and parents paying dividends." – Matthew Parr-Burman, Principal

There were many more excellent results recorded by students in Academies elsewhere withn the TEN Group, with Attleborough Aademy Norfolk and Wayland Academy Norfolk all posting their best ever GCSE results.
