FAN v Thetford Grammar School (U14 rugby)

Fakenham hosted TGA for one of their pool games. Despite missing a few key players from last season through injury and moving school, Fakenham started brightly and scored a try within the first 5 minutes. Things continued to go well, with Fakenham managing to play well with ball in hand and dominate the tackling statistics.

Some players tried out new positions and performed very well, considering they had little experience prior to this game. In addition to this, some players had never played before and performed admirably.

The game continued to be rather one-sided and particular mention must go to Arminas Dovainis who scored 6 tries! That said, rugby is very much a team game and whilst Arminas deserves the praise for his blistering runs, credit must go to the whole team for putting him in these situations.

The game ended 83-15 to Fakenham.
