FAN Students receive sponsorship to compete in NSEA from Local Businesses

From Monday 4th June 2018 Fakenham Academy Eventing Team has successfully gained sponsorship from Wensum Valley Veterinary Surgeons and Grocott and Murfit to help them go further in the sport. After a lot of hard work the students in Fakenham Academy eventing Team managed to complete their Sponsorship Appeal by getting there two sponsors. We are grateful for the support.  This will meant that as a team we can join the NSEA (National Schools Equestrian association) and get the equipment necessary to fulfill what we want to do.

We have ambitions to improve our skills and qualify for big events so that we can get awards and trophies to bring back to Fakenham and to be able to say that we did it and that we did it for the school. Members of the team are Maxwell Lake, Robbie Bell, Ella Slegg and Milly Eckett.Going from Year 8 to Year 11. We all ride at a competent level and hope to excel further in the sport.

What we hope to do with the sponsorship money is buy equipment such as; Saddle Pads, Jackets and Hat-Silks. Furthermore the sponsorship money is also paying for us to join the NSEA which is quite  expensive.

We will keep you posted with our progress as we would like to show people how we are doing and so that people can follow how we are doing.

With thanks to Wensum Valley Vets and Grocott and Murfitt.
