Teacher of Humanities – Full-time – September 2020
Due to a growing number of students on roll, we are now looking for an enthusiastic,
flexible, supportive and well-qualified colleague to teach in the Humanities subject group.
The ability and flexibility to teach multiple Humanities subjects is desirable.
Applications from newly qualified teachers and those looking to broaden their experience
are equally welcome.
The appointment will be in the form of a full-time, permanent contract.
Fakenham Academy is based in North Norfolk; at its last Ofsted in January 2019 we were
deemed ‘Good’ in all areas. We are also celebrating our fourth year of improving GCSE
results. We seek to attract teachers committed to excellence in teaching and learning, with
high expectations of all their students.
The Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and
young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful
candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check and all necessary
safeguarding checks before employment commences.
