History Revision Conference

On Thursday February 22nd the Year 13 History class, accompanied by Dr Burrows, attended a German History revision conference in London. The conference revolved around four lectures, and complementary Q&A sessions, which discussed the nature of the Weimar Republic, the historical processes which led to the Nazis gaining of power and the key features which characterised the subsequent Nazi regime. These proved both of great use to our preparation for our forthcoming A level German history exam in the summer but also as a flavour of the kind of university style lectures we will be 'enjoying' come September. The day was rounded off with a pleasant stroll through central London back to the train station. Many thanks to Dr Burrows for organising the trip.
