French Christmas Celebration at Sculthorpe Primary School

On Wednesday 14 December, the year 10 studying French took on the exciting challenge of going to Sculthorpe Primary school to teach “Petit Papa Noel” a typical French Christmas song to Key Stage 2 students.

The year 10 students worked with little groups of pupils, helping them to find the French words they could hear in the song and helped them to understand its meaning as well as singing along the younger students.

Our year 10 were fantastic ambassadors of the Academy, through their kindness and exemplary behaviour and they enjoyed meeting and working with the lovely pupils in Sculthorpe Primary School.

A big thank you to the staff and students at Sculthorpe Primary School as well as Mrs Yarham- the school governor, as well as Mr Cubitt and Ms Wright for making this event so enjoyable.
